Beth Johnson, PA-C

Beth Johnson earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University in Kinesiology in 1993. She then went on to PA school to earn her Masters in Medical Science specializing in physician assistant studies from Midwestern University in 1996.

Beth moved to Atlanta in December 1997 for a position in pediatrics. She worked for the Sibley Heart Center from 1997- 2000 following inpatient pediatric cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery patients. She then moved on to the outpatient setting from 2000-2003 doing outpatient pediatric cardiology with one pediatric cardiologist. By September 2003, she was ready for a change and joined GPPA where she has thoroughly enjoyed taking care of the pediatric pulmonary population in the office and in the hospital setting.

In addition to her clinical responsibilities at GPPA, Beth is also in charge of coordinating continuing medical education for the practice as well as precepting PA students. Beth is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and has privileges at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite.

Beth and her husband live in Atlanta with their baby boy.
