Gary Montgomery, MD

Dr. Gary Montgomery received his undergraduate degree, medical degree and pediatric residency training from Indiana University. After completing his pediatric residency, he served in the United States Air Force as a general pediatrician for four years before returning to Indiana University to complete his pulmonology fellowship and accepting a clinical assistant professor position. Dr. Montgomery joined Georgia Pediatric Pulmonology Associates in 1991 and has a clinical appointment at Morehouse School of Medicine.

Dr. Montgomery is proficient in all areas of pediatric pulmonology, but has special expertise in the diagnosis and management of pediatric sleep disorders, apnea and other disorders of respiratory control.

Dr. Montgomery is board certified in pediatrics, pediatric pulmonology and sleep medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, American Medical Association, and the Medical Association of Georgia.

Dr. Montgomery is a native of South Bend, Indiana. He is married and has three children and one grandson.
