Julie Sedor, MD

Dr. Julie Sedor earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia. In 1995, she completed her medical school training from Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University and followed that with the completion of her pediatric residency training at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Sedor completed her pediatric pulmonology fellowship at Washington University with a concentration in lung transplant medicine and additional training in pediatric critical care medicine. She is board certified in pediatric pulmonology. She joined Georgia Pediatric Pulmonology Associates in July 2002.

Dr. Sedor’s areas of expertise are in bronchoscopy and transbronchial biopsies. She has a special interest in cystic fibrosis and other chronic lung diseases such as bronchopulmonary dysplasia and chronic respiratory failure. She serves as the Cystic Fibrosis inpatient Director at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite.

  • Northside Hospital
Dr. Sedor is a native of Gainesville, Florida but was raised in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
