Monal Shah, MD

Dr. Monal Shah earned her undergraduate medical degree and postgraduate training in pediatrics from Gujarat University in India. She practiced as a consulting pediatrician in India before coming to the US.

In the US, she completed her pediatric residency training at Woodhull Medical Center, in Brooklyn, NY. She worked as an attending physician and community asthma care coordinator at Woodhull Medical Center after her residency. Dr. Shah also worked as a hospitalist in neonatal ICU at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Dr. Shah received her fellowship training in pediatric pulmonary medicine at University of California, San Francisco. During her fellowship she performed research in the field of cystic fibrosis at Stanford University. She received the Elizabeth Nash Memorial Fellowship Award from Cystic Fibrosis Research, Inc. Dr. Shah worked as pediatric pulmonologist at University of California Los Angeles before moving to Atlanta.

Dr.Shah is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric pulmonary medicine. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Shah is proficient in all areas of pediatric pulmonary medicine including bronchoscopy. She has a special interest in cystic fibrosis, asthma, and chronic lung disease of infancy.

Dr. Shah lives with her husband and a school age son.
