The physicians of Georgia Pediatric Pulmonology Associates are currently participating in research studies in several areas of pediatric respiratory health. Our research areas include RSV, asthma, and sickle cell disease. The practice has a well-established research department led by Burt Lesnick, MD and employs two additional research staff, one of which also holds a Master of Public Health degree. The GPPA research department participates in several clinical trials and is engaged in both novel and sponsored research.
